Navajo Peyote bird Squash blossom Set
This rare and beautiful chip inlay set was a rare find and has high quality workmanship. It has Turquoise and Red Coral inlay on some very well tooled sterling silver with matching earrings.
According to Indian Legend every time an artist signs his name he or she loses a little of their soul. For this reason many Indians will not sign their work. In this case this seems to be true. It is thought that the Peyote bird is the god or messenger of visions.
This set would look fantastic on an evening gown as well as with a pair of jeans or slacks.
The length is approx. 30" long including the naja at the bottom.
The earrings are approx. 2" long not including the wire.
